Xiaoyan is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where she also completed her M.Sc. in Computer Science. Prior to this, she obtained her M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. During her master’s studies at Ottawa, she focused on anomaly detection using deep learning techniques. While working towards her M.Sc. at the University of Toronto, she concentrated on detecting task-related concentration through machine learning methodologies. Xiaoyan’s research interests span machine learning, deep learning, signal processing, and health informatics.
